High Efficiency Concrete Curing Compound

Obaproof Con-Cure III curing compound is a range of liquid curing compounds for the prevention of premature water loss in concrete. Obaproof Con-Cure I1I is applied to fresh concrete surfaces to form a fast dry.thin flexible and tough, impervious membrane which protects the concrete from rapid water evaporation during initial curing stages, thereby assisting towards obtaining maximum strength, durability and helping towards the elimination of shrinkage cracks and surface dusting.

Uses:
Obaproof Con-Cure 11l is particularly useful in large areas of exposed
concrete such as:
• Aprons, hard standing &
retaining walls
• Highways, runways and taxiways
• Pre-stressed beams and piers, etc.
• Roof & bridge decks
• Column, beam & precast unit

Application:
Product are supplied ready to use and should not be diluted with any forms of solvent / water. Stir well before use. Obaproof Con-Cure III is applied in a thin even coat using spray equipment to the fresh concrete immediately after the free surface water has evaporated. All loose particles should be removed and honeycomb to be repaired. The nozzle of the spray should be held approximately 500mm from the surface and passed back and forth to effect complete coverage. After application of Obaproof Con-Cure III, it should be protected from rain for at least 3 hours. Total disintegration of the membrane normally occurs after 5 weeks of application if the application rate is correct (7m²/litre). Where subsequent surface treatment is to be undertaken before total disintegration of the membrane, Obaproof Con-Cure Ill film shall be removed. Obaproof Con-Cure III should not be applied to dry concrete particularly on vertical surfaces or soffit of concrete, which may have partially dried out by being retained in shuttering. It is imperative that the concrete be well weted before applying Obaproof Con-Cure 111. If this is not done,permanent staining will result.

Storage:
Obaproof Con-Cure III have a shelf life of 12 months at ambient room temperature in unopened condition. If stored in extreme heat locations the shelf life may be reduced.

Precaution:
Obaproof Con-Cure Ill should not be swallowed and avoid to be in contact with skin or eyes, Wear gloves and goggles for protection, If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
